It is Friday afternoon and I am alone in Casa SVE. As Christmas are approaching all of us are leaving for home sooner or later. At the moment Laura and Antigoni already are at their homes. Gioia is leaving tomorrow morning and it is up to me to clean the house, bring out the trash, turn off gas and water before leaving tomorrow evening. My flight to Latvia is on early Sunday morning from Milan Bergamo which is about 3 hours away from Asti (depending on the traffic). And as I should be in the airport some hours before there is no other chance as to sleep in the airport. In the airport which, as I found out searching through Google, is one of the worst for spending the night there (http://www.sleepinginairports.net/2013/worst-airports.htm).
If you have wondered – where am I gone, don’t worry! I am still in Asti, finally recovered from our C.O.A.T. (Centrally Organized Arrival Training – if I remember correctly). From 26th of October to 2nd of November we all went to this training which took place in a hotel in Scafati – a city at the foot of Vesuvius volcano. Magnificent view and secluded atmosphere. For a week almost 40 volunteers improved their Italian and learned about EVS.
