Ievietots: 24.03.2025

On March 20, 2025, the association “Patvērums "Drošā Māja"” held the first training session within the framework of the project “Sustainable Growth: Strengthening the Operations and Capacity of "Patvērums "Drošā Māja"” (No. 2025.LV/NVOF/MAC/034).

The training focused on "Combating Human Trafficking and Sexual Violence Against Children", led by representatives from the 4th Division of the State Police`s Department for Combating Serious and Organized Crime, Armands Lubarts and Tatjana Macko.

This was the first of five planned training sessions aimed at strengthening the organization`s capacity, enhancing the professional skills of staff and volunteers, and improving support for victims of human trafficking and violence.

During the session, participants gained in-depth knowledge about human trafficking trends in Latvia and internationally, identification methods, prevention measures, and the importance of inter-institutional cooperation.

The project will continue until December 2026, during which four more training sessions will be organized, covering essential topics to support the association`s core activities.

This announcement has been prepared with the financial support of the Society Integration Foundation from the Latvian state budget. The association “Patvērums "Drošā Māja"” is responsible for the content of this announcement.
