Anti-trafficking activities in Jūrmala

06.02.2014. NGO "Shelter" Safe House "" activists yesterday, on June 1 - International Children`s Rights Day - concluded the United States Embassy’s in Latvia supported project " Development of innovative methods against human trafficking in Latvia” in which informative activities were implemented to prevent human trafficking. Info trailer and volunteers on Sunday early afternoon were hosted by a day-care center for children with disabilities in Kauguri, while in the afternoon every resident and visitor of Jurmala had a chance to get acquainted with the problem of human trafficking and the activities of the project in Horna dārzs, in Majori.
