Anti-trafficking Activities in Schools

In order to inform school students and teachers about the problems of human trafficking, a non-governmental organization "Shelter" Safe House "" with the support of the United States Embassy in Latvia have launched informative activities in Latvias educational institutions. During the period from 9 April till 30 June organizations professionals and volunteers will educate more than 1,000 students and young people, as well as at least 150 teachers in at least 20 Latvian schools. Info trailer and "Shelter" Safe House "" speakers are attending schools in accordance with the United States Embassy’s in Latvia supported project " Development of innovative methods against human trafficking in Latvia" program.
