Coversation Festival Lampa

On 1 July 2016, the volunteers of “Shelter ‘Safe House’” participated in the largest conversation festival in Latvia - Festival LAMPA - which took place in Cēsu Castle Park. During the festival, in the LAPAS (The Latvian Platform for Development Cooperation) tent the volunteers organised an activity that promoted “openness and respect towards yourself and others”. The activity participants had the opportunity to create their own model of an ideal country, and could share ideas and opinions about how to be open to new trends and to assess the available information. During the project “Information Centre for Immigrants”, volunteer work for integrating and focusing on non-member country citizens in NGOs and the society was promoted by providing information in public events. The project "Information Centre for Immigrants" is implemented by the society "Shelter "Safe House"" within the framework of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund.
