One "Open to the World" seminar cycle consists of 5 lectures and lasts for five days; one lecture per day.

"Open to the World" lectures include topics on intercultural communication, the emergence and breaking of stereotypes, international law in the context of migration, human rights norms, as well as the concepts of identity and the impact of globalization on cultural interaction.

More than 120 people from all over Latvia have already applied to listen to the seminar cycle of the organization "Shelter "Safe House"". It should be mentioned that 3 groups of listeners have already finished listening to the seminar, but 2 more groups of listeners are planned this week and next week. The seminars are aimed at such specialists as social workers, teachers, librarians, representatives of non-governmental organizations, etc. Within the framework of the lectures, it is possible to get acquainted with third-country nationals who, showing their positive example, have successfully integrated into Latvia.

It should be noted that the lecturers have already received positive feedback from listeners on the quality of the lecture material.

Many thanks to everyone who participates in the seminar series "Open to the World"!
