250 representatives of the target group will have an opportunity to attend Latvian language courses, which will help the attendees to learn Latvian and enable them to communicate in the process of solving various everyday problems or obtaining documents from the local or public authorities. Knowledge of Latvian will widen social contacts of the target group, as well as their involvement in society in general.
Persons under international protection will also be offered an integration training course intended to help its participants to acquire knowledge and cultural orientation skills required for successful interaction in Latvian society. An estimated number of 500 persons will be involved in the training course. To ensure qualitative communication with the attendees of the training course, interpreters and speakers of different languages will be involved for the entire duration of the project.
As part of the project a mobile application will be developed to ensure availability of information about the life in Latvia to the target group. The application will be available for free at Google Play and App Store. To make it easier for the target group of the project to find answers to frequently asked questions about the life in Latvia, information from the questions and answers section published on www.beglis.lv website will be included in the mobile application.
