In the 13th series of the Information Centre for Newcomers - translation and interpreters!

Ievietots: 08.09.2022

In this news episode we learned about a very demanded service – translation.

Linda Liepkalne, our interpreter coordinator, tells more: whom we translate, what we translate, how many interpreters Society “Shelter “Safe House”” has, what languages they use in their work.

Marina Lapejeva from LMI Translations tells about written translation.

In the third part of the episode we also meet three interpreters. Ahmet translates from Kurdish, Aija – from Spanish, Suleiman – from Arabic.

If you know a newcomer from a third (non-European Union) country, who might need a translator’s/interpreter’s help, please, share this episode.

Enjoy the episode!
