International Youth Day, 12.08.

On 12 August in Jelgava - the first Latvian youth capital - the celebration of the International Youth Day took place. Throughout the day, various NGOs and municipalities introduced children and young adults to their areas of activity and current events. The association “Shelter ‘Safe House’” also participated in the event and provided the youth with the opportunity to learn about such topics as migration and human trafficking. The event was organised by the National Youth Council of Latvia.
