NGO Dialogue Platform in Cēsis

On 24 November 2016 in Cēsis, during the project “Information Centre for Immigrants”, the association “Shelter ‘Safe House’” organised the second NGO Dialogue Platform meeting. This time via Skype the participants received information about the immigration policies in Lithuania and Estonia which were presented by “Safe House” partners from other countries, and there was an opportunity to ask them questions. Inese Šūpule from the Baltic Institute of Social Sciences lead the discussion about proposals for new guidelines concerning the policy of unity and integration within society. The meeting was attended by members of the Chinese community from Cēsis, and an interesting and informative discussion formed around their integration experience.
