NGOs unite in a coalition, 17.12.

On the initiative of society "Shelter "Safe House"", which is the only organization in Latvia providing state-funded rehabilitation services for victims of human trafficking, Latvian NGOs – "Shelter "Safe House"", "SOS Children’s Villages Latvia", department of "Social Service Agency" – family crisis centre "Mīlgrāvis", "Latvian Samaritan association" crisis centre for children and women "Māras centrs", "Talsi district crisis centre", "Baltic Regional Fund" are starting a coalition. Its aim is to develop inter-institutional cooperation in preventing human trafficking by providing preventive measures for risk groups that most often are the objects of human trafficking, with particular emphasis on regions.
