Pakistan cultural evening, 24.02.

On 24 February, the volunteers of “Shelter ‘Safe House’” organised Pakistan Culture Night, during which the Pakistanis residing in Latvia presented on the culture of Pakistan in Latvian, proving that Latvian can be learned in less than two years. Before the start of the Night, volunteers cooperated in preparing Pakistani traditional food. Everyone could enjoy the food during the Night. At the event, participants from Latvia, Algeria, India, Russia, Tajikistan and Pakistan learned about Pakistan. The activity was held within the framework of the project "Information Centre for Immigrants" which is implemented by the Society "Shelter "Safe House"" by support of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund.
