Seminar for librarians

Within the project „Open your eyes” NGO „Safe house” in October 11 from 10. 00. till 15.00 in the hall of the Ministry of Interior is organizing a seminar for librarians about human trafficking. Taking into the consideration that in many regions libraries are cultural and social centers, directors of libraries are invited to learn about the problems of human trafficking in Latvia and in the world, in order to provide the visitors of libraries the information about the traps of traffickers and available assistance.
During the seminar various information materials and books about human trafficking will be presented. Participants will also receive information about the development process and challenges of the book „Piesmietā Misis Eiropa”, which is describing the problem of fake  marriages.
