SIF is organizing open seminar on voluntary work possibilities for students representing third country nationals

During seminar you will meet representatives from several non-governmental organizations (NGO) like those who are promoting volunteering (www.brivpratigais.lv), engage volunteers in their everyday activities ("Shelter "Safe House"") and a real volunteer from Spain (The association “ Apeirons” ). You will have great possibility in informal atmosphere (coffee, tea, buns and fruits will also be available) to ask direct questions why volunteering is popular, what are the benefits and where to be careful as well as to meet students from other countries and universities.

This seminar can be very useful for you, because volunteering is:
• possibility to find NGO representing your nationality or your professional interests;
• to have new experience and impression’s;
• to find new friends;
• self-development;
• possibility to learn Latvian language;
• possibility to help someone in need;
• line in your CV……

Time of event: 22nd of May 2013 at 16:00.

Place: Brīvības iela 40 (1st floor), Riga, Society Integration Foundation premises.
