On June 20, World Refugee Day is observed globally. We invite you to remember that a humane attitude towards refugees and asylum seekers is not just the responsibility of state institutions and NGOs. Every member of society should be aware that a person remains a person, regardless of their country of origin or other characteristics.
“A person remains a person” is a project we are implementing to support Ukrainians in Latvia. However, we also extend a helping hand to all other refugees and asylum seekers. On June 18, more than 70 newcomers from various countries gathered in the courtyard of “Shelter “Safe House””. They were all the most wonderful participants in the event “Feel Good in Latvia!”
On World Refugee Day, we greet our friends, cooperation partners, and other NGOs that help refugees, asylum seekers, and immigrants from third countries!
